Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
1. Implement the “Framing a Future” questionnaire, a tool that allows different goals to be set in various areas of an AAC user’s life.
2. Explain the value of having a strong peer support group in communication, so that a user of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems can develop self-determination skills.
3. Discuss how future goal setting emotionally affects an AAC user.
