Alyssa Hillary Zisk
Dr. Zisk is an AAC researcher and an Autistic part-time AAC user. Some of their research (e.g. AAC for speaking autistic people) has to do with their own AAC use and needs, while other parts of their research do not (e.g. working with anonymous language use data at AssistiveWare). Dr. Zisk completed their Ph.D. in May 2021, working on brain computer interfaces for people with ALS. They are also one of the moderators of the Facebook group, โAsk Me, Iโm an AAC User.โ
