Amanda Simmons

Amanda Simmons, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her research focuses on sustainable education and training on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) across the lifespan. She has clinical experience with pediatrics through adults with hopes of developing versatile AAC instructional materials for patients, families, and healthcare workers moving forward. Dr. Simmons hopes to continue developing and assessing training.
