Andrea Viera
Andrea J. Viera Gómez is a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Psychology, Universidad de la República (Uruguay). She coordinates interdisciplinary research, teaching, and extension projects focused on educational inclusion, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and language development in children with disabilities. Her work integrates linguistics, psychology, and education, and she has led multiple studies on AAC practices and narrative construction in Uruguayan public education. She also supervises graduate theses in psychology and education and serves as academic director of the PhD Program in Psychology at her institution.
