Becky King
Becky King is a student at the University of Arizona in the Human Rights Practice program. She will compete her master’s degree next year and will be pursuing a PhD researching how non speakers access health, legal and other services to fully exercise their human rights. Her advocacy work and study stem from her experience as a mother to an adult daughter with autism who is non speaking. Her professional experience includes newspaper journalism, project management for a global philanthropy organization and she is currently the program Director at Arizona Achieve, a statewide self-advocacy and leadership coalition for people with disabilities.
