Betty-Jean Dee-Price
Dr Betty-Jean (B-J) Dee-Price is a senior disability and mental health researcher with expertise in communication disability, patient and clinician communication self-efficacy, augmentative and alternative communication, social identity and disability and inclusive research methodologies. B-J is physically located with the Justice and Society Unit of the University of South Australia as the chief researcher of a project titled ‘Talking Scrubs’ with Phase 3 funding from UniSA (Slingshot grant). B-J is the guest editor of a Special Issue for MDPI journal YOUTH titled Disrupting Barriers: Youth Disability and Access to Opportunities and for the last two years was ISAAC Australia’s council representative to ISAAC.
