Christina Givner

University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, USA

Christina is a pediatric bi-lingual speech language pathologist at the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development. She graduated from Florida State University with her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Since joining the Mailman Center in January 2021, Christina has had the opportunity to be part of a variety of clinic teams including: Augmentative and Alternative Communication Clinic (AAC Clinic), Interdisciplinary Developmental Evaluation Services Clinic (IDES), Craniofacial Clinic, and the Outpatient Speech Therapy Clinic. Christina is part of the Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST) program and serves Monroe, Miami-Dade, and Broward counties by spreading awareness regarding assistive technology to her local community. She has also had the opportunity to present research regarding assistive technology at two national conferences and a state conference (ASHA 2021, ATIA 2022, FLASHA 2024).
