Cristina L. Pujol

Cristina L. Pujol is a bilingual speech language pathologist at the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development. Cristina obtained her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and her master’s degree in communication sciences disorders. Cristina has worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings, including general education classroom and inclusion model, group therapy in schools, and outpatient settings. Cristina joined Mailman Center in 2015 and is a member of various interdisciplinary teams including Interdisciplinary Developmental Evaluation Services Team, Cleft-Lip and Palate Team, as well as the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Team. Over the years, Cristina gained a special interest and developed her skills in working with individuals with complex communication needs requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Cristina strives to provide children and their families with high-quality, evidence-based interventions focusing on family-centered care to improve the quality of life of those she serves.
