Erin has worked in the field of AAC for over two decades in the United States, Ireland, and New Zealand. For the last seven years she has been conducting research in the field of Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Washington. Her research includes: methods to include people who use AAC in qualitative research, the impact access to creativity has on people who use AT and AAC, and the design of conversational agents.
