Kari Harrington

Kari Harrington is a 60-year-old AAC user, who was a member of the first Blissymbol class in 1971. She had a very supportive family throughout her life, both educationally and supportive of her technology. Because she was in a pioneering educational program that received international attention, Kari’s life was documented through studies and publications. She has recently completed her autobiography, “No Greater Love” and wishes to share her gratitude to the many persons in her life who have enabled her to learn and grow through their belief in her and their unending support. This gave her the confidence to try many things and her always improving technology over the years made this possible.
