Kim Mears

Kim is a speech and language therapist, based in the UK, who is passionate about amplifying lived experience, being an ally and disrupting the status quo. In 2024, she completed her MEd in inclusive practice focusing on critical theory, speech and language therapy practice and exploring the communication identity of semi-speaking. Kim currently shares her time between working independently offering training, consultancy and supervision and working for a charity in their outreach team. Kim is currently co-writing a resource for speech and language therapists on semi-speaking with Harriet Richardson.
