Kirsi Neuvonen, PhD, is a speech and language therapist and a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Her research interests are the conversational strategies of children and young adults who use aided communication and their speaking communication partners. She is particularly interested in enhancing communication skills of young children who develop little or no functional speech.
