Miriam Boesch

Dr. Miriam Boesch is an Associate Professor of Special Education at the University of North Texas. Her research focuses on assessing personnel preparation in augmentative and alternative communication, the impact of interdisciplinary training, and the reliability of AAC app evaluation tools. She is the project director for Project Communicate, a federally funded interdisciplinary preparation program, a co-author of Implementing Effective Augmentative and Alternative Communication Practices for Students with Complex Communication Needs: A Handbook for School-Based Practitioners and is the Co-Chair for USSAAC’s Disaster Relief Committee.
