Rishika Sharda, M.Sc. (SLP)
Speech-Language Pathologist | Researcher | Early Intervention Specialist

I am a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a strong foundation in early intervention, neuro-communication disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, where I also completed my Bachelor’s in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology.

My clinical journey includes a 10-month internship across diverse institutions such as MGR School for the Deaf, Vidya Sagar, Eljay Hearing Center, and SRTC. Additionally, I’ve gained two years of part-time experience at Phonologix Ltd., where I worked in a telehealth setting, providing therapy and assessments for individuals with aphasia, dysarthria, dysphagia, stuttering, and voice disorders. This experience has strengthened my ability to deliver evidence-based interventions both virtually and in-person.

I have presented my research at various national and international platforms, including ISHACon and AUTCON, and was awarded the Chancellor’s Summer Research Fellowship at SRIHER. My academic and clinical interests focus on AAC outcome measures, family-centered intervention, and culturally sensitive therapy approaches.

Alongside my formal training, I have pursued professional development through multiple Coursera certifications in areas such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD management, and pediatric hearing loss. I’m fluent in English, Hindi, Nepali, and Tamil, which helps me connect meaningfully with clients and families from diverse backgrounds.

I am committed to integrating clinical care, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support individuals with communication needs and contribute to inclusive practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
