“Having lived and worked in London as a teacher, teaching music and steel pans, Saffron moved to Lincolnshire 20 years ago for a quieter life. It was here that Saffron discovered AAC, and through this Saffron has worked with young people in a variety of settings, mainstream, specialist, home educated and residential. Saffron has adapted exams into accessible formats for AAC users to enable them to have independent access to exam papers.
Saffron works nationwide, both independently and for a number of companies, providing educational support, co-managing a mentoring service, training, exam adaptation and exams advice.
For the past 6 years, Saffron has been a trustee of Communication Matters.”
