Sini Peltokorpi
Sini Peltokorpi is a speech pathologist (MA) with a specialization in communication and congenital deafblindness (MSc). She is a PhD student at the University of Turku, Finland, and also engages in part-time clinical work at the Pediatric Neuropsychiatric Unit at Helsinki University Hospital and with the Finnish Deafblind Association. Sini has extensive work experience in various pediatric and child neurology outpatient clinics, as well as in rehabilitation courses for children with sensory impairments and multiple disabilities, along with their families. Her research interests primarily focus on exploring early interaction, communication in the bodily-tactile modality, and developing best practices for early intervention for children with visual impairment and additional disabilities (VIAD) and their families.
