Stacey McRuer
Stacey McRuer graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Manitoba in 2005. She began her career as a clinical Occupational Therapist at the Centre for Neuro Skills in Bakersfield, California. Upon returning to Manitoba in 2008, she worked in chronic care, respiratory care, and day hospital programs. In 2009, she found her true passion working with the Communication Devices Program (CDP), where she currently holds the role of Program Coordinator. In addition to her role with the CDP Stacey also provides instruction to the Student Occupational Therapists at the University of Manitoba, and is a current board member for the non-profit organization, CAJust (Communication Access to Justice). Previously, Stacey has served as a member of ISAAC Canada Executive and National Councils, NAACA (North American Alliance for Communication Access), and CCAA (Canadian Communication Access Alliance).
