Tanja Miller

Ms. Tanja Miller has been working at the Institute for Applied Research at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg as a research associate since March 2023. She is pursuing her doctorate in the field of inclusive education in augmentative and alternative communication. From 2000 – 2006, Tanja Miller worked as a care worker in a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities and mental disorders. She studied inclusive education from 2006 – 2010 (Bachelor of Arts) and from 2012 – 2014 (Master of Arts) at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg. Afterwards, she trained as a child and adolescent psychotherapist (2015–2021) and worked as a pedagogue and therapist in a psychiatric clinic for adolescents for a total of 16 years.
