Yoosun Chung
Yoosun Chung, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Division of Special Education and disAbility Research at George Mason University. She holds a Ph.D. in Assistive Technology and degrees in Computer Science from George Mason and Cornell University. Her research focuses on individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), individuals with disabilities, and assistive technology. Dr. Chung is the Past President of the United States Society for AAC (USSAAC) and a member of the North American Alliance for Communication Access (NAACA). She has received several honors, including the 2020 Online Teaching Excellence Award and the 2017 Edwin and Esther Prentke AAC Distinguished Lecture Award from ASHA.
