Dawn Sowers

Dawn Sowers, Ph.D. served as the AAC Research and Outreach Coordinator for the 2020-26 Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (The RERC on AAC). In this role, she was involved in R&D to develop and evaluate a web-based app (INSTRUCT) to provide short focused trainings in AAC procedures for communication partners. Dawn is currently an Assistant Professor at Florida State University.
