Luis Carlos Perez Hernandez

An artist, writer, chef, craftsman, and spiritual-based life coach, Luis Carlos is a multitalented and multifaceted, Jack-of-all-trades. Forced to leave his home and life in Venezuela due to the violent political-economic turmoil caused by the Narco-Dictator Regime, Luis Carlos has been enduring a long, isolating, 13-year journey. He has lived in 12 countries across two continents, learned 3 new languages, and traveled much on foot selling his handmade art and jewelry. He has learned how to shed superficial societal layers to reach internal spiritual growth and development. His trauma survival strategies and unrelenting perseverance allow him to support himself and his loved ones emotionally and psychologically.
Among countless devastating traumas, Luis Carlos lost two childhood friends to suicide while on their own paths in the current Venezuelan diaspora. He tirelessly advocates for mental health, breaking free from systemic slavery, and spiritual-emotional health for all. He brings an authentic, honest, and direct perspective unique to his lived experiences, and his studies of religion, psychology, sociology, and history. Luis Carlos has experienced and analyzed life and humans from streets to elites across the world, experiencing countless micro and macro aggressions based in racism, sexism, classism, and xenophobia. A true spiritual warrior and survivor, he presents his self-development lessons with interconnected spiritual sources guided in ancient and indigenous teachings, promoting that we all share the innate responsibility to heal ourselves and each other.
