Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
1. Identify 6 components of feature matching described by Schlosser’s PESICO template.
2. Compare and contrast 3 aspects of the stakeholder perspective of classroom educators and school system administrators within the feature matching process.
3. Describe 3 AAC features required for the intervention of aided language input across a classroom or whole school environment.
4. Compare and contrast how any two AAC systems best match to the needs of the user, environment, stakeholders, and intervention.
