Patrick Regan
Patrick Regan lives in Anchorage, Alaska. He has been an AAC user for more than 27 years. He is the President-Elect of the United States Society For Augmentative and Alternative Communication (“USSAAC”), and he has served on USSAAC’s AAC Awareness Committee for the past 2 years. He also is a member of the LEAD Committee of the International Society For Augmentative and Alternative Communication (“ISAAC”), and a frequent chat moderator for ISAAC’s People Who Use AAC. Patrick serves as the Coordinator of Activities and Events for Bridging Communities Through Alternative Communication (“BCTAC”), an adult outreach program of The Bridge School in Hillsborough, California, when that program is active. And he has been organizing virtual activities for the members of that group while they have been meeting informally. Patrick has also been BCTAC’s Co-President and steered BCTAC’s Leadership Committee for the past several years. Patrick has made several presentations to university students and young adult AAC users from the perspective of a long time AAC user. And he is employed as a Media Tech Coordinator for St. John United Methodist Church in Anchorage, Alaska.
