Ruth Candela, PhD, is a specialist in psychiatry and a graduate in Psychology. Master´s degree in Neuropsychology. Collaborating researcher on various research projects with the CSIC Institute of the History of Science. She is a collaborator
professor in the Psychology Degree program at the Open University of Catalonia as well as in various master’s programs (Master´s Degree in Neuropsychology and Education at UNIR; postgraduate program specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication Systems at the University of Castilla-La Mancha and the University of Development-Santiago, Chile).
Author of various publications in Spanish on disability, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and on the history of science.
As a trainer and consultant, she supports professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams in navigating social-emotional, mental health, and behavioral challenges while promoting well-being, care, and inclusive support systems.
