Xuet Ying Tan

ISAAC Singapore Chapter

Xuet Ying is a Principal Speech Therapist working in Tan Tock Seng Hospital. With a strong interest in AAC, she was awarded MOH Health Manpower Development Plan in 2016 and visited centres in US and Canada to learn about implementing AAC services in hospitals. On return, she and her team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital also spearheaded “Help Me Speak” program – the first eye gaze device loan system in hospitals in Singapore which helped increase access to high technology devices. Out of hospital walls, she is also one of the founding committee members of ISAAC Singapore.
